The St. James North Branch of the Barbados Labour Party will be having a Cruise on board the MV Harbour Master on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.



Edmund Hinkson\'s Father Passes

The death is announced of the late Rudolph Hinkson, (father of Edmund Hinkson).

The late Rudolph Hinkson was a long-standing Party Member, Assistant General Secretary of the Party in the early 1970’s, a National Council Member for 13 consecutive years, Polling Agent for the Hon. Vic Johnson for three elections, NHC Chairman in the early 1980’s,retired Attorney-at-Law.

He was the husband of Mrs. Pamela Hinkson - a former Secretary of the Party’s Women’s League.

His Funeral takes place at the St. Stephens Anglican Church on Saturday, 4th September at 10.15am with his burial thereafter at the St. Joseph Parish Church.



Panel Disscussion on the Economy

The St. Philip North, West and South Branches of the Barbados Labour Party hereby invite all persons who love this country and want it to succeed - to a panel discussion, at the Labour College, Mangrove, St. Philip - on Wednesday, September 8th 2010, at 7:00 p.m.

The topic will be: SURVIVING A GLOBAL RECESSION: MISTAKES MADE AND LESSONS LEARNT - THE WAY FORWARD.

Panelist are: Professor Avinash Persuad, Economist Clyde Mascoll and Lindsay Holder.

This activity will be held under the patronage of Indar Weir - a member of the Economic Team of the Barbados Labour Party and our candidate for St. Philip North and Roger Smith - our candidate for St. Philip West. (HB)
